Mahajraja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner has been established by the University of Bikaner Act, 2003 (Act No. 13 of 2003), the Rajasthan Gazette Extraordinary Part-4(Ka), published on June, 07, 2003 as a new State University.

Village “Kotdi” (Joorber), near Bikaner is adopted by the Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner. After various visits and meetings with the village communities most required activities were initiated in the village.

Shri Kalraj Mishra was born in a middle class Brahmin Agriculturist family on 1st July, 1941 at village Malikpur (Saidpur) of Gazipur District (UP). In 1963, he joined RSS as a Pracharak in Gorakhpur.
